INTEGRASI DSLAM 9800

Try and error. Today ( 15 august 07 )i have an opportunity to try and error a good product. It is a DSLAM. A product that should i set. the vendor is ZTE. i dont have any background about zte product.But i think its the time for me to get new knowledge about dslam.Here is my configuration:

lets create each slot of dslam;
config # card slot 1 cardtype ASIKB // ASIKB or ASIGN it’s depend on card type of DSLAM. And do it until the last slot.. Usually 14 ports.

Creat Your DSLAM name :
config # system prompt DSLAM01-BIMO-TRYnERROR // what ever you want
Create your vlan management :
config # add-vlan 8008 // what ever you want. It is a vlan management.

assign an uplink traffic.
config # vlan 8008 14/1-3 tag // according an active uplink.. In this case, slot 14 from port 1 until 3.

Create your dslam ip address
config # ip subnet 123.456.789.001 255.255.255.0 8008

Create snmp server host
config # snmp-server host 123.456.789.020 private

Create vlan downlink traffic fo customer.
config # add-vlan 1234

create uplink for customer traffic.
config #vlan 1234 14/1-3 tag // if uplink in slot 14
Create downlink for customr traffic
config #vlan 1234 1-13/1-48 untag // slot 1 to 13 and each slot consist of 48 ports.

Activated PPPOE-plus command
config # pppoe-plus enable

Activated pvlan-mode
config #pvlan-mode enable

Activated uplink pvlan
config #pvlan-mode uplink-port 14/1,2,3 // depend on your EICG modul . in this case is in modul 14

Create adsl profile
config # adsl profile dsl384

Now lets create all slot/port Dslam *:

config # atm-pvc 8:81 pvc1
config # pppoe-plus enable
config # adsl-profile dsl384
config # adsl-transmode // choose 1 for STIGN card or choose 4 for ATIGN card . in this case i choose no.4
* do it the same things until slot 14

Save all configuration
config # copy ru st

config # save slaveSCB

Write Enable first if your dslam is ATIK. to save your configuration

After finished it, now you must open an vlan traffic in Aggregator and BRAS.

Now lets configure an aggregator

[local]BRAS-xxx(config)# commit
